Field work for a landlord with a 1900 limestone apartment building whose intercom died inside 30-inch stone walls. I traced the undocumented wiring with a Fluke, tested every board instead of throwing parts at it, and designed an ESP32 door controller fed by a wireless hop from a roof radio to a small dome antenna at the door, so nothing new gets drilled into a historic facade. Then it grew into one progressive web app with three sides: a public site, a resident portal where a plain form becomes a real maintenance ticket, and a staff board styled like an old switchboard.
